The Joan McDonald School- a branch of the renowned Lahore institution –opened in Islamabad in 2001; it is centrally situated at St.9, Sector H-8/4. The school offers its students a complete and thorough education which blends traditional excellence with modern efficiency. This institution prepares students for the Cambridge University O Level examination, it has highly qualified staff, is headed by a doctorate while the junior section functions under the meticulous supervision of a graduate of the Montessori international, Holland.
